Application Process

• Online applications are available here January through March 31st
• Completed applications are due by April 15th at midnight
• Candidates are notified of their selection between July and August
• Leadership Knoxville Classes begin with two mandatory sessions in mid-August – Orientation and an Overnight Retreat

Please note that the following criteria must be met at the time of the application deadline:

• Applicant must be a resident of the Greater Knoxville area for at least one continuous year.
• Applicant cannot be a new candidate for public office at the time of application and during the program year. Applicants currently holding office are eligible for consideration depending upon the dates of any primaries and/or general elections during the class year.
