10 Year Vision for Knoxville "Eliminate homelessness and hunger and provide quality education to all. A thriving economy for all. The opportunities for all walks of life to participate in our community decisions and opportunities. For our parks to be the best in the state. I would like to see a children's museum in Knoxville so our children have creative opportunities to expand their gifts. To create a city that offers opportunities for all would be one of my visions. That we provide a place for all walks of life to have a voice in the decisions that affect our city. " What is Knoxville's Best Kept Secret? The quality of life. Great health care. Proximity to mountains and lakes. Drivability to so many locations in a day. A college town that offers so many activities. Friendliness of our community. The care that our leaders in local business and government provide to our community. Low cost of living. What would you do to strengthen Knoxville? Make sure with all the growth we are experiencing that we have infrastructure for roads and schools and affordable housing. To strengthen this community we need to encourage responsible building with affordable housing. Offer competitive teacher salaries so we provide quality education.
