Looking back on my high school years as a recent graduate, I have so much to be proud of. I was president of the Gibbs High School’s National Honor Society chapter, treasurer of my senior class, a member of multiple community organizations, an intern for a State House of Representatives candidate, a 4.0 student, etc. Looking forward, I have so much to be excited and optimistic about. I’ll be attending the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, studying civil engineering as a member of the 2017 cohort of the Haslam Scholars Program. I look forward to being a leader and achieving great things in Knoxville. I am determined to leave this city better than I found it, to leave it steamrolling its way into a top city in the country.
