My 10-year vision for this great city is for it to be an even better place for ALL residents to raise families, work, play, worship, retire and, ultimately, thrive in every way. In 10 years, Knoxville should be THE ideal place that visitors wish to come back to and, perhaps, even make their new hometown. What is Knoxville's best kept secret? Its people, history and diverse cultural offerings. What would you do to strengthen Knoxville? Find ways to inspire more people to be active participants in what makes this a thriving place to be. What is your favorite Knoxville memory? I'd have to say marrying my high-school (Bearden) sweetheart and the births of our 3 sons. What is your favorite book or what book is currently on your nightstand? Hillbilly Elegy by J.D. Vance is currently on the nightstand. What is the best advice you have received from a mentor, and who was that mentor? Trust in God with all my heart - My Mom What advice would you give to your 16 year old self?
