My vision for Knoxville is to remain a large small town where our great strengths of friendliness and leadership stand above the crowd. Knoxville becomes the top ten community to live in the Southeast USA. Our people share a common vision to make our community valued and appreciated by all people.
What is Knoxville's Best Kept Secret?
Our best kept secret is our people! The warmth and welcome we provide is like no other!! Our regional outdoor activities are endless and rank top in the USA. Our trout fishing rivers and streams are first class and top ten throughout our country.
What would you do to strengthen Knoxville?
Mass transit study to improve our roads and highways. Regional leaders and transportation task force develop a master plan connecting our community with multiple solutions.
What is your favorite Knoxville memory?
My favorite memory is when I was asked to move to Knoxville and now it is our true home!!!
What is your favorite book or what book is currently on your nightstand?
My journal!
What is the best advice you have received from a mentor, and who was that mentor?
My mentor was Joe Hunter and he shared his knowledge of personal Trust business! He taught me this key fact. "It's always their money and never forget it." Service over personal gain is a life well lived.
What advice would you give to your 16 year old self?
Listen more and speak less!! Stay passionate about your life and life goals!
