What is your vision for Knoxville 10 years from now?
Ten years from now my hope is that Knoxville is making steady progress on a path towards becoming a vibrant and supportive community that has robust commercial opportunities in order to retain and support its residents while maintaining a high quality of life for all its citizens. A high quality of life would focus on improving health, education, arts, and recreational opportunities throughout all neighborhoods in Knoxville while taking advantage of the natural beauty and outdoor opportunities of the area.
What is Knoxville's best kept secret?
I am not so sure it is a secret, but I think the Greenway system and trails throughout Knoxville and the ability to get around town on a bike or by walking or running is a fabulous feature of this community that may not be fully appreciated by everyone.
What would you do to strengthen Knoxville?
Continue to support public education and vocational training so that we have a well equipped workforce to address the current and evolving needs of employers.
