10 Year Vision for Knoxville In 10 years I hope that Knoxville will have made great strides to provide equitable health opportunities to every zip code/neighborhood within our great city. Also, as we continue to grow, I hope that we always keep the sweet community feel that draws people here to raise their families and advance their careers. What is Knoxville's Best Kept Secret? The overlook at Lakeshore Park. What would you do to strengthen Knoxville? Encourage every member of our community to give back in some way. Whether that be through a professional group, non-profit, your child’s school, or your church; it is so rewarding to give back while also doing so much good for our community. What is your favorite Knoxville memory? Some of my best memories are from my time of working for the Vol Network and getting to meet and spend time with University of TN Athletic greats such as John Ward, Gus Manning, Haywood Harris, and Pat Summitt. What is your favorite book or what book is currently on your nightstand? Discerning the Voice of God by Priscilla Shirer is currently on my nightstand What is the best advice you have received from a mentor, and who was that mentor? “You can tell pretty much all you need to know about a person by who they surround themselves with…both professionally and personally.” What advice would you give to your 16 year old self? I would tell myself to not take things so seriously and be kinder to yourself. Give yourself grace!
