Congratulations! You have recently been appointed a team leader. Most likely you have been tasked with a difficult objective and expected to accomplish it with limited time, scant resources and busy individuals with other priorities.This is not an uncommon scenario. So how do you rally a group of individuals into a cohesive unit that is focused on the team’s objective?Effective leaders know how to overcome challenges by doing the seemingly impossible with a well-functioning team of people. Do you think an “All-Star” team will guarantee success? Not always.Remember the 2004 Olympic basketball team? It was a group of the best NBA players who seemed poised for Olympic greatness.
